Ethan has been active in real estate for over 13 years. For the past nine years, he has worked for Time Equities Inc., a New York-based, private real estate investment and development firm, where he is responsible for large, urban, multi-family development projects, including 50 West Street in New York City and 601 Bond Avenue, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ethan has overseen over $600mm of new development. He also acts as an asset manager for various asset types across the U.S., overseeing the local management and leasing teams, and maximizing value for the firm. Ethan formed Ninth Square in 2015 to invest his own capital in small, value-add properties and has been growing the firm ever since. Ethan has a BA with honors in Economics from Skidmore College, a Master’s in Urban Planning from UCLA, and a Master’s of Real Estate Finance from NYU.

Tom grew up in and around the NY construction industry where he got a first taste of the business through his family’s contracting company and luxury vacation rental operation. After college, he went to work in his hometown’s other great industry, media, and is Vice President of Revenue Strategy at American Public Media.  Tom has a BA with honors in History from Georgetown University and studied Corporate Innovation at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
